Lanikai LU-21C Concert Ukulele Review
I went to an OMEA convention and went to a vendor stand with a variety of Ukulele and the best one there was the Lanikai S-C. I wanted to save some money so I decided to go with the LU-21C. It's the same quality of build, but has a mahogany plywood top instead of a spruce top. This means that it lacks some higher overtones (it's warmer, darker, what ever you want to say.) I've played many crappy instruments for around this price range and bellow and this one is not a crappy instrument. The only thing that needed some set up was the nut, but that is a common problem and a quick fix on most low end guitars and ukes. Most manufacturers ship such instruments out with a high nut. Are you not sure you want a ukulele? Get this one to find out.

Concert Ukeleles
There are four common types of ukes out there: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone. The soprano was the original, followed up quickly with the concert size uke. The 15-inch scale length and slightly larger body size deliver a deeper tone and a bit more volume, while maintaining the sweetness and instantly recognizable ukulele sound.

Excellent Instrument - S. Zhao -
This is a great ukulele for the price, finish is good overall, a few rough patches but nothing bothersome. Sounds very good too.
